Free VPK Program
Preparing early learners for kindergarten and beyond.
Kids Discovery is proud to offer Florida’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program, a free early learning opportunity that builds the social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive skills children need for long-term school success. Through hands-on learning, early literacy activities, and supportive guidance, children gain confidence and curiosity as they grow.
Who Is Eligible
Florida’s free VPK program is available to children who live in Florida and turn four years old on or before September 1 of the current school year. Children participate in a high-quality classroom environment where teachers foster deeper learning through science experiments, art projects, early math and literacy, and character-building activities. Each child’s baseline learning levels are monitored to track progress and strengthen readiness for kindergarten.

Enrichment Activities
We believe every child deserves a variety of ways to learn and succeed.
Our extracurricular enrichment activities are offered outside of the regular program schedule and are unique to each location. They help children develop creativity, coordination, and confidence while keeping every week full of fun.

Hop To It Gymnastics
Hop To It Gymnastics introduces children to movement, balance, and body awareness through playful, age-appropriate gymnastics activities. As they stretch, climb, tumble, and try new skills, children build strength, flexibility, confidence, cooperation, and perseverance. Each class offers a fun, supportive space to explore what their bodies can do, giving them skills and self-belief that will stay with them far into the future.
Community & Classroom Fun
Learning at Kids Discovery Valparaiso extends far beyond the classroom. Through themed celebrations, hands-on activities, and community engagement, we make every season special and meaningful for our students.
Classroom Parties
From Valentine’s Day to St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, we bring holidays to life through crafts, games, and connection.
Special Attire Days
From Wacky Hair Day to Rodeo Week, we make learning fun with themed dress-up days tied to events, holidays, and weekly lessons.
Fun Within the Community
Through special visits from community helpers and local professionals, children get to learn about the world around them.
These experiences help children connect what they learn in class to the world around them, building confidence and compassion with every adventure.
